The senior team had a 3 point win over neighbours Curry in the League final played in Tubbercurry on Sunday lastto retain the title won last year.  Forced to line out without Fintan Kennedy, Patrick Egan, and Con O'Meara, the team was also dealt a severe blow in the first few minutes with the loss of forward Shane Dunne.  However management was able to avail of the services of Eamonn Walsh who put his mark on the game by contributing 2 points.  Though trailing throughout the first half, the team took the lead 10 minutes into the second half and never gave up until the final whistle.  The final score was Tourlestrane 0 - 12 Curry 1-06.

The club would like to wish Shane Dunne a speedy recovery from the shoulder injury, which will force him out of action for a number of months.

The club would like to extend the very best of luck to Neil Egan and Tony Carty who have stepped down as  senior  team management .  The  team has won 3 Championships and 2 League tiles during this tenure and the club are very grateful for their contributions over the last 8 years.

A speedy recovery is wished to James Goldrick NT who is recovering after a short spell in hospital.

Deepest sympathy is extended to Canon Christopher McLoughlin, Tourlestrane on the recent death of his brother John T. McLoughlin Ballina recently.
